Nick grew up in the bowels of California culture. Surfing, skating, cars motorcycles, and music have all played a huge role in his life and art. He has been working in the surf/skate industry for over 20 years and currently runs his own brand, Fartco.

INSPIRATION
What inspired my piece was the separating and detaining of families at the border. It’s wrong and its evil. I can’t think of anything uglier than taking away a child from a parent that loves and wants a better life for them. Much like a pair of shoes, they belong together.
